Technical Procurement Category Manager

to join our premier marine client that is at the forefront of performance and commercial marine technology projects.

At the pinnacle of maritime innovation, this brand is currently involved at the very top of maritime technology and is partnering with various international brands to offer ground-breaking solutions.

This role is a key member of a growing team, responsible for the support of one-off and custom products, working closely with engineering, naval architecture, electrical, and hydraulics engineers. Considering the leaps forward in maritime projects, the role would be best suited to an individual with strong engineering acumen, ideally degree qualified.

Working from engineering drawings to source products for bespoke and one-of-a-kind projects, you will come with strong negotiation skills and the capability to work within tight timeframes on high-pressure projects.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with engineering, naval architecture, electrical, and hydraulics teams to source bespoke products and materials for high-performance maritime projects. Analyze engineering drawings and specifications to identify and procure required components. Manage the procurement process for one-off and custom projects, ensuring adherence to tight deadlines and project budgets. Evaluate supplier performance and maintain a strong network within the industry to identify new sourcing opportunities.

Ideally degree qualified to the highest level, your experience will come from a high-performance maritime, automotive, or similar background.
