You'll find the best prices for goods and services the university needs, such as office supplies, furniture, technology, and construction services. You'll research suppliers, negotiate contracts, and implement strategies to reduce costs and improve efficiency. Helping departments:
You'll work with different departments to understand their needs and find ways to save money and improve how they buy things. You'll provide guidance on procurement processes, help them develop purchasing plans, and analyse their spending to identify opportunities for savings. Making sure things are fair:
You'll make sure the university follows the rules when buying things and that everyone is treated fairly. You'll ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures, manage risks, and monitor supplier performance. You'll also work with legal and compliance teams to address any issues that may arise. Who you are: Estates procurement experience is essential (Soft and Hard FM) Higher education experience is desired Public sector experience is desired
