Job description Here at evoke, we're looking for a Category Manager for Marketing which includes ‘Above the Line and Below the line’ advertising (TV, Radio, Press, OOO, Social, Affiliates, Media Buying and Planning, Creative Agencies, PPC etc) and Marketing Technology. Based in Leeds or London, you'll manage the Marketing supply base and support the Head of Category. This will include Category Management and delivery of initiatives that drive TCO resulting in annual savings/revenue of millions.What you will be doing: Gaining and providing expert knowledge of the supply markets and through this bring insight and introduce new/innovative approaches or ways of working to optimise the delivery of the category whilst identifying and prioritising sourcing and SRM projects within the category across different spend areas, to be incorporated in the annual procurement plan Driving initiatives to deliver significant cost reductions or incremental revenue and ensuring strategies are implemented and TCO reductions secured, according to implementation plans and agreed with business stakeholders Leading and implementing all sourcing activities and all renewals (RFI, RFP, Negotiation, Auctions, Benchmarking) Actively managing our key “partner suppliers” that will drive in contract innovation, service and cost reduction Maintaining contractual and business relations and drive negotiations with all assigned suppliers, as well as monitoring supplier satisfaction Structuring contracts working with SRMs to input key SLAs, Service Credits and working with supplier and internal evoke/William Hill legal to ensure robust contracting is completed Assessing regular performance of key suppliers driving the improvement of performance whilst working closely with key stakeholders in business functions to define effective sourcing strategies and category implementation plans.
