Manage and mentor a small team of two Junior Buyers ensuring they are prepped and motivated for the day ahead Procurement of a range of components from an existing portfolio of suppliers across Europe and China frequently monitoring performance and quality Ensure all products and materials are available for immediate dispatch to meet customer demand A strong focus on continuous improvement, building on existing frameworks and implementing new ways of working, including the introduction of forecasting, demand planning and inventory optimization software and stronger S&OP practices Demand Planning & Forecasting Frequently liaise and work closely with the sales, procurement and stores departments Deliver reports on stock, inventory budgets, forecasts and targeting areas to improve Take the lead on cross-functional activities to reduce slow moving, aged, obsolete & unsaleable stock What you will need to succeed:
