The BRUSH Power Generation division delivers solutions that are engineered to perform, built to last, and supported for the entire lifecycle. Be part of a team that makes a difference to our business

You will be responsible for all procurement activities across the global Services units. You will lead the procurement team to maximize value for money whilst developing processes and systems required to deliver excellence in purchase to pay, sourcing, and contract management. You will have direct responsibility for c£30m of annual external spend. You will drive continuous improvement, best value, and quality improvements within the team and challenge existing practices. You will also seek ways to achieve better outcomes to ensure key performance and financial targets are met and corrective action taken where necessary.

As a Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for:

Developing, implementing, and ongoing management of the local Procurement Strategy for the business. Acting as Primary Procurement point of contact and escalation for the local senior management team. Defining and delivering category-by-category savings prioritization and implementation plans. Promoting the importance of procurement across the organization and best practice through continuous improvement. Providing strategic commercial support and guidance for key supply chain projects. Driving collaboration across Brush Group to deliver local benefit to the business. Leading, developing, and mentoring your team (Senior Buyers x2 and Buyers x5) ensuring that they receive appropriate support, training, and development to achieve their potential. Building and enhancing team capability and embedding best practice, to evolve towards Procurement excellence. Developing excellent and effective collaborative relationships with senior exec stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure strategic and operational needs are fully understood and incorporated.

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college. MCIPS qualification. Have extensive experience in a relevant role, with some experience in team management. Have good experience in a transferable sector, ideally within an industry-leading engineering and technology solutions provider. Have expertise in supplier relationship management, supplier development & improvement programs, and ongoing compliance. Have proven experience in strategic sourcing and category management. Have experience of change management and value engineering, driving functional and process improvements. Be available for occasional travel to international suppliers and other Brush sites.
