Procurement Manager
Procurement Manager focuses on leading and developing their teams in the delivery of people, safety, quality, delivery, cash and cost (psqdcc) targets, meeting customer and stakeholder commitments.
What the role involves
- Leading and developing their teams in the delivery of People, Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cash and Cost (PSQDCC) targets, meeting customer and stakeholder commitments.
- Procure/Schedule parts, materials, tools, etc. to site/program schedule and business schedules in line with business targets.
- Maintain relationships with suppliers and contractors to ensure a high quality, reliable source of supplies, services and information.
- Develop a highly motivated, well-trained staff capable of meeting the short and long term staffing requirements of the department and Company.
- Contributing to the Plant strategy and ensuring its execution across their assigned areas.
- Contributing to the Procurement Commodity and Programme strategy, and ensuring its implementation and execution across the site.
Skills and requirements
- BSc degree, or equivalent in a Business, Engineering, or Science discipline.
- Minimum of 10 years relevant business experience.
- Previous and significant experience with an international supply base.
- A demonstrated ability to build relations with a supplier network and having insight in suppliers processes.
