Work closely with various internal teams and build strong relationships with key suppliers.

Key Responsibilities: Manage and oversee the procurement department, ensuring goods, materials, and services meet company standards. Conduct cost analysis reviews and assist with quotation/tender activities. Maintain and develop relationships with suppliers, negotiating rates and resolving discrepancies. Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality guidelines. Support the team with administrative tasks, including updating CRM systems and maintaining electronic and manual filing systems.

Skills and Experience Required: Industry Experience:

Prior experience in the construction or engineering industry is essential. Educational Background:

Relevant experience is required, with CIPS qualification being advantageous. Technical Proficiency:

Strong PC literacy, particularly in Microsoft Office Word and Excel. Communication Skills:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a professional telephone manner. Organisational Skills:

High levels of personal organisation, attention to detail, and the ability to meet targets. Interpersonal Skills:

Ability to collaborate effectively, with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to relate to staff at all levels. Behavioural Competencies:

Self-motivated, proactive, results-oriented, and flexible, with strong personal integrity and problem-solving abilities. Additional Requirements:

A manual driver's licence is required.

This role is office-based, with working hours from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday.
