Procurement Manager (Power & Control Systems)
£60,000 - £65,000 + 25 Days Holiday + Private Healthcare + Training + Progression + Discretionary Bonus + Electric Car Scheme

Are you a Procurement Manager from a manufacturing background seeking a key role in a high-growth SME which has doubled in size in the last 18 months?
On offer is an opportunity to play a crucial role in the businesses ongoing success and growth, where they are seeking a highly motivated, skilled individual to lead the purchasing function within the Operations team. In this role, you will play a key part in determining procurement strategy and developing robust reporting and monitoring systems.
The company is a leading provider of fully integrated power, monitoring, and control systems in the marine, vehicle, and off-grid markets, which combine renewable energy sources with traditional power sources, enabling reduced emissions and improved energy efficiency.
As an experienced procurement professional you will be CIPS Level 5 or above and be managing a small team providing strategic planning, performance management and supplier relationships.
The role: Develop a strategic procurement plan that is aligned with the company goals and objectives. Monitor supplier performance to ensure quality and timely delivery, initiating corrective actions when necessary. Produce and analyse Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in collaboration with the Operations Manager. Maintain accurate supplier data within the MRP system, with a focus on price consistency and lead times. Lead and mentor members of the Supply Chain team, demonstrating best practices and driving continuous improvement. The person: CIPS level 5 or 6 qualified (comparable to a Bachelor's degree) or equivalent industry experience. Have significant experience in procurement, preferably from within a manufacturing environment (ideally leading a team).
