next generation of Procurement Talent
to support this journey. This is a fantastic route to your development, if you have a flare for buying, are hungry to specialise in a particular category, and are keen to progress your self-study. As Procurement Manager, you will sit within the IT category, which had above £80m of spend last year, supporting multiple complex contracts across Digital, Data, and Telecoms. You will develop and implement demand and category strategy, working closely with internal customers to gauge requirements, volume, and specifications. You will work with the Senior Category Manager and Business Leads to drive cost reduction through standardisation, aggregation of demand and minimisation of Tail Spend. This role will develop strategic sourcing relationships, driving the delivery of digital activity. Requirements: Indirect Procurement experience, with some IT category experience. Ability to develop and implement Strategic Sourcing Relationships and Strategy. Ability to work autonomously, with prior experience in large-scale projects.
