We are recruiting for a rapidly expanding business who due to growth, are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.
This brand-new role, created due to growth, offers a unique opportunity to shape and lead procurement strategy from the ground up, enabling you to put your own stamp on the role while adding significant value!
Overview of the role
Supplier Management:
Oversee and streamline relationships with approximately 160 suppliers, including landscapers, security, and waste management. Implement a consistent procurement framework across the business. Collaboration:
Work closely with department heads across the business to understand supply needs and ensure alignment. Supplier Vetting & Evaluation:
Lead the supplier vetting process, develop SLAs and KPIs, and ensure suppliers meet performance standards. Tendering & Strategy Development:
Initiate tenders, develop and lead procurement strategies, and look for cost efficiencies. Relationship Building:
Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to drive value and reliability.
Requirements
Ideal experience
Previous procurement experience ideally gained from a property/real estate/facilities management background. Experience of procuring hard/soft services. Experience in drafting service specifications. Ideally a procurement qualification. Excellent communication skills. Strong negotiator and proactive.
