Thrive Trowbridge are delighted to be working with our client in the Trowbridge area who are actively seeking to engage a Procurement Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.
What you will be doing:
Sourcing and managing suppliers, negotiating contracts and ensuring material supply meets production demands across the business. Supervising a small team of staff. Manage direct and indirect items and raw materials to ensure the correct stock levels are maintained. Expedite purchase orders and maintain accurate records of purchases, materials and suppliers. Involvement with tender process including negotiating pricing and terms. Adhoc project work as and when required.
What you will need to succeed:
A proven track record in a similar role gained within manufacturing or engineering. An organised and self-motivated approach, with a strong understanding of procurement processes and supply chain management principles. Commercial acumen and a confident communicator. Excellent IT skills including Excel and ERP systems. CIPs qualification or equivalent.
