Our Client are a leading specialist in furniture supplies and are searching for a versatile individual skilled in Supply Chain, Procurement, Purchasing, Product Management, and ERP supply optimization. The ideal candidate should excel in both team settings and working independently, meeting strict deadlines under pressure.

Key skills include: Problem Solving Supply Chain Negotiation Communication Relationship Building While experience in a similar role is preferred, we also welcome candidates from developmental roles within the same sector.

Job Role: Oversee the day-to-day procurement activities of a fast-paced production site, managing the whole procurement process of bespoke made-to-measure office chairs & components. Identify opportunities for supply chain improvement, making recommendations where necessary, adopting a continuous improvement approach to optimization of margin, component quality, and reduction of supply chain volatility at all times. Monitor quality, safety and overall standards of the procurement department and its supply partners from raw material to end product. Generate procurement reports, analyze KPIs and present to senior management at regular intervals. Work in a collaborative environment with the accounts teams and senior leadership to plan and effectively execute on payment scheduling, invoice and purchase order fulfillment and future forecasting of needs based on market conditions and business performance. Drive innovation, positive change and manufacturing excellence within a fast-growing, market MVP company.

Your Background: Qualification in procurement management, operations management or related discipline a plus but not essential. Experience, aptitude and ambition valued above all else. Proven experience in a management role or history of management within a manufacturing or production environment. Strong knowledge of international import/customs/freight regulations and quality control standards when implemented in product production. Experience working alongside creative and technical teams to design and launch new products would be a benefit but not essential at this stage. An understanding of MRP and ERP software solutions and their use within live manufacturing environments will be key to driving success within this role at all stages.

Competitive salary of C. £42.5k PA plus annual performance bonus DOE. Hours:

40 hrs/week (Mon-Fri 09:00 hrs to 17:00 hrs).
