Compass UK&I is a leading contract catering company dedicated to creating innovative and user-centric digital solutions. It’s an exciting time to join our digital team as we have developed an award-winning Omni Channel Digital Solution for food and drink ordering such as apps, kiosks and kitchen management systems and are at the forefront of deploying emerging technologies such as frictionless, AI tray scanning and robotics.

We’re looking for a highly skilled Product Analyst to join our dynamic team and play a crucial role in the development and management of our Digital Food Ordering Solutions. This role is pivotal in monitoring and enhancing the performance of our digital hardware to exceed the expectations of the UK market.

The Product Analyst will be responsible for analysing the performance of our digital solutions, focusing on managing our hardware, payments, and EPOS systems. Working closely with suppliers and other internal cross-functional teams, you will support data-driven decisions and help manage our digital food ordering solutions. Your insights will directly influence the product strategy, ensuring our platforms are innovative, user-friendly, and aligned with both market trends and business objectives.

Responsibilities:

Establish and monitor essential product performance indicators, creating clear success metrics. Regularly assess and analyse performance data from our digital food ordering and payments platforms, identifying trends, areas for improvement, and providing actionable insights. Measure the impact of newly launched features and provide post-launch performance reports, offering recommendations for improvements. Support Product Managers in developing and enhancing the hardware their solutions uses. Use Device Management Tools to ensure our EPOS and Payments solutions are maintained and well managed. Work with Service Desk and suppliers to ensure Support Services are meeting targets. Ensure data accuracy and consistency across device management tools and platforms, while developing and maintaining governance processes to keep data clean, well-documented, and accessible to stakeholders. Gather and analyse customer feedback from various channels (surveys, reviews, customer service) to identify pain points, areas of improvement, product usability and new feature ideas. Use data to identify trends in user and hardware behaviour and provide insights and recommendations to the product and development teams. Conduct market research and analyse industry trends within the UK food sector, providing gap analysis to ensure our products remain competitive and aligned with consumer needs. Work closely with product managers to align data insights with strategic priorities, contributing to the product roadmap and long-term development planning. Produce detailed reports and presentations for senior leadership, summarising product performance and market trends. Utilise Power BI and other analytics tools to create dashboards with real-time performance insights.

Experience required:

Proven experience in product analysis, ideally within the digital or food ordering sector. Proven experience in using Device Management Tooling and Hardware Management. Knowledge of Payment Solutions. Strong understanding of UK consumer behaviour and market trends, particularly in digital food ordering solutions. Proficiency in Power BI and other data visualisation tools. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and present complex data effectively. Experience collaborating with remote development teams is an advantage. Strong collaborative skills, with experience working with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and business stakeholders. Attention to detail and a passion for improving services. Experience in performing gap analysis to benchmark products against competitors and identify areas for improvement. Knowledge of GDPR and other data privacy regulations, particularly important in the UK and EU, ensuring that data collection and analysis practices remain compliant with legal requirements. Proven ability to present data insights clearly and persuasively to senior leadership and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring data-driven recommendations are understood and implemented effectively.
