We are recruiting for a Game Data Product Analyst on behalf of a well-known and widely respected UK studio to analyse game data and influence decision making to create better game experiences for players of the studio’s huge AAA adventure game that is loved by millions! As a Game Data Product Analyst, you will collaborate closely with Producers, Live Service teams and the Head of Strategy to understand business challenges, and analyse complex datasets aimed at uncovering valuable insights about the game. Your primary focus will involve leveraging data analysis of product KPIs to generate insights on how the product is performing, and what is driving growth or declines, which would involve measuring the impact of seasonal trends, content updates, and audience dynamics. We are in search of an individual who has experience of understanding a digital audience and how the dynamic of this audience engages results in engagement, while it is beneficial to have a background in game data analysis it is not essential. This is your chance to make a significant impact on the future of a long standing and successful AAA title and collaborate with Producers, Designers, Engineers, and the Leadership team at a leading AAA live service studio and to own product insights for a huge digital live service video game. ***Please note this is an 18 month contract position, to be worked remotely from within the UK. As such, anyone applying should currently reside in the UK and hold a full right to work in the UK.*** Identify drivers of game performance through detailed data analysis. Communicate insights to the leadership, game development, marketing, and live operations teams. Understand and create customer segments, LTV analysis, and analysis for how customers move through life cycle and engagement stages and use this knowledge to describe product KPIs. Create dashboards and regular performance reports for stakeholders, highlighting trends and anomalies. Evaluate the success of live events, promotions, and new feature rollouts. Provide insights on what worked, what didn’t, and why, to inform future planning. Partner with Product Managers, Designers, and Marketing teams to align KPIs with business goals. Unifying methodology (e.g., for incorporating A/B experiments, user research studies) to improve insight delivery. The skills and experience you’ll bring to the role… 2 or more years’ experience as a Product Data Analyst. Strong knowledge of digital product analytics, including telemetry, KPIs, and engagement metrics. Working knowledge of SQL and/or Python. Experience working with data engineers for data asset deployment & management. Strong analytic and Excel skills. Experience with presenting data, and creating reports (e.g. PowerBI, Tableau). Communication, organisational and collaboration skills. Desirable but not essential experience… Digital platform analytics (web, digital products), especially live service games. Familiarity with game industry/game development. Proficiency in statistical analysis, hypothesis testing, and experimental design methodologies. AB testing and Audience Segmentation. Documentation and data/reporting architecture design.
