Alfa Laval is seeking for a new team member to join our Marine Product & Application team in the Northern European Cluster. This is an office-based role, and the suitable candidate can be based at any of our NEU Sales company offices. You will provide essential support to all our Sales Companies across the NEU Cluster, regardless of your specific location. About your job The Marine Product & Application Engineer is responsible for providing technical solutions working together with the sales and service team on marine products and applications. As a vital part of the Marine Division, the Product & Application Engineer serves as a crucial link between our external sales team, the customer, and our central organization.

You will assist our internal and external sales team, as well as marine project managers, on a daily basis. You will be responsible for providing technical solutions for a range of Alfa Laval products and applications, ensuring the department meets its financial and customer satisfaction goals. Additionally, you will serve as an expert and trainer for this range of products and applications.

You will be performing the following tasks as part of your role. Due to the wide range of products and solutions that are offered by Alfa Laval, the exact nature of the tasks within the role will be varied: Support with technical solutions on customer opportunities and quotes Support with technical clarifications to customers, including assisting in technical customer meetings Technical support and corrective actions/troubleshooting in claims and technical issues Responsible for guidance and support in parts and service inquiries, including recommending critical spare parts Support with technical clarifications for non-standard orders to the Customer Support team Be the local and/or cluster trainer and expert for specific products and applications: Define and deliver local training programs for our employees, channels, and customers Provide technical support to internal teams for existing products to support customer service excellence

Who are you The ideal candidate will possess the following skills or attributes: Commercial or Merchant Marine industry knowledge or experience, with strong marine technical knowledge, and familiarity with the Alfa Laval marine portfolio is meriting GPHE configuration knowledge is a big plus An expert level of digital competence, not only with Microsoft Office programs but also with other communication and collaboration tools A fast learner, both in the ways of working and how new information is processed and applied Strong interpersonal skills, comfortable communicating with individuals and project teams at all levels using a variety of methods Methodical and organized, with an eye for detail Customer-focused, we need a person who will get the job done A team player Excellent English written and verbal communication
