The role of the PA/QA Engineer is to ensure the performance of projects within Space and Aerospace markets is performed in accordance with the relevant standards. This includes leading quality-related matters during all phases of projects and ensuring that the tasks and commitments defined in the PA/QA plans are correctly performed. As a growing company, you will play a major role in embedding a 'quality first' culture within the teams to reflect the Aerospace and Space standards. Additional responsibilities include supporting the development, maintenance and improvement of the compliant quality system and promotion of a quality culture across all projects throughout the organisation. Duties and Responsibilities Delivering product/quality assurance related matters during all project phases (from development to production) Implementing and performing the project PA/QA plans Ensuring the integration of activities defined in the PA/QA plan (EEE, materials, mechanical parts and process, dependability etc.) Ensuring the implementation of documentation management and recording, reviewing document and engineering drawings and understanding of metrology practices. Managing the non-conformances/deviations/alerts/critical items control process Acting as a key point of contact for all quality-related activities of customers and external suppliers Supporting the development and follow-up of the supply chain to meet project requirements Leading on manufacturing process surveillance, providing support for incoming inspection activities and client on-site reviews Supporting Parts, Materials and Processes (PMP) activities Participating in design/engineering/MAIT/manufacturing reviews Participating in customer/supplier reviews Managing project internal/external audits Preparation of the client End Item Data Packs (EIDPs) Supporting the development, maintenance and improvement of a compliant quality system and promotion of a quality culture throughout the organisation The role will report to the company Quality Manager. Qualifications Experience working in a quality engineer position in a highly regulated environment (Aerospace, Space, defence, medical etc.) Configuration and data management control Standards practical knowledge (e.g. ECSS, ISO 9001, ISO 9100, ISO14001) What we can offer: Competitive salary: negotiable, depending on specific experience and qualifications relevant to the role.
