Our client is looking for an ambitious and confident Sales Consultant to join the team at their dealership in Croydon. What’s involved? Our client is taking on a new approach to car sales. They want to make the car buying experience more relaxed, fun and rewarding for both the customer and the consultant. Your official job title will be Product Consultant but your role will be heavily sales focused; say hello to a car sales role that will allow you to demonstrate your fantastic customer service skills and enjoy every working day to the full! This role is all about helping customers find the right car based on their requirements whilst building up strong, positive relationships with them through every step of the process. Guiding customers through a seamless journey, from the initial welcome to negotiation and the handover of their purchased vehicle. Actively prospecting for new customers via telephone, attending product launches and events, and maintaining a comprehensive enquiry database. Maintaining and keeping up to date with an in-depth product knowledge and continuously enhancing expertise through manufacturer-led training sessions. Recommending suitable add-on products that align with your customer’s needs and preferences. Ensuring the effective use of the customer enquiry management systems for optimal tracking and follow-up. Delivering outstanding customer service that fosters loyalty and encourages referrals. The skills and qualities you need

Previous experience in a sales or customer service role, demonstrating the ability to achieve targets and build relationships. Ideally this experience will come from selling cars, but our client will also consider applications from people who have worked in target driven, face to face sales roles. First class communication, organisation and people skills; we want people who love what they do and take pride in their work! Copious amounts of energy and enthusiasm with a genuine interest in helping customers and contributing to the team’s success. An understanding that being organised and remembering the little details helps to deliver your promises, exceed expectations and meet deadlines. The desire to have a career that’s lasting and fulfilling. A full driving licence (preferably clean) held for a minimum of 1 year.
