We are seeking an experienced and visionary Product Design Manager to lead a small, distributed team of four talented designers working at a platform level across a global ecosystem of tax and accountancy products. This role is crucial for driving cohesive design strategy and ensuring a seamless user experience across our suite of products.
As Product Design Manager, you will oversee end-to-end design processes, mentor designers, and collaborate closely with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to build scalable design systems that support multiple product teams. Your team will focus on creating a unified, accessible, and intuitive user experience, ensuring our products maintain a consistent design language while addressing the unique needs of diverse users worldwide.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor a distributed team of designers, providing guidance on design best practices and career development.
Drive the development of scalable design systems that enhance consistency across products.
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align platform design with business objectives.
Advocate for user-centered design, leveraging user research and data to inform decision-making.
Ensure design quality and consistency across all products in the ecosystem.
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in product design, with 2+ years in a leadership role.
Proven experience with platform-level design and design systems.
Strong understanding of UX principles, interaction design, and accessibility.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
