Main Accountabilities… To manage the execution of styles from concept to launch. Bring to market, world class, “on brand” product, built and engineered to Represent’s design aesthetics & attention to detail. Always be forward thinking. Challenge the “norm”. Have commercial awareness & supplier knowledge. Collaborate with the design team on new fabric, trim and logo developments. To prioritise sustainable fabrics, trims & packaging. Nominate fabrics and accessories. Make the team aware of the impact of using expensive and imported fabrics on the critical path & margin. To interface with garment technologists re. size specifications, blocks, technical construction and the suitability of fabrics for end use. Collaborate with graphic designer on printing and embroidery techniques and strike offs. Independently plan and organise allocated workload. Ensure that all techpacks are of the highest standard and can be accurately translated by the factory into the best 1 st

protos. Set up styles on PLM system. Maintain & update the PLM. To initiate and manage the initial creation of the Bill of Materials document in conjunction with the product team. To interact frequently with factories and fabric mills ideally through site visits or video meetings. Coordinate daily communication with all suppliers re. samples. To stick to the critical path with the product team, to execute a well-balanced and commercial range plan. Ensure all timelines are met. Responsible for the day-to-day product development tasks, to deliver the goals and objectives as set by the Product Manager – in line with the company vision. Visit factories at Tech pack handover to ensure that 1 st

proto is the best it can be. Responsible for the cost breakdown of every style and the difference between various source bases. Provide target prices at Tech Pack handover stage and provide costing knowledge to designers, to ensure the best possible prices without compromising the quality expected for Represent. Attend fit sessions and sample review meetings. Obtain initial prices on receipt of 1 st

proto samples. Chase factories for proto and SMS and be prepared to visit them on site to ensure that timelines are met. Identify styles that may require wear testing with Garment Tech team. KEY SKILLS Luxury mindset with commercial awareness. Experience working with Global Apparel brands. Experience working in Product Development function. Collaborative, non-political approach. Happy to take the lead, when required, but also a team player. Ability to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines. Strong organizational, time management & prioritizing skills. Sound understanding of high quality & sustainable fabrics & trims. Knowledge of pattern making or garment construction an advantage, but not essential. Demonstrate a pro-active approach to problem solving. Flexible and open to evolving business needs and priorities. Experience in a fast-paced environment. Hands on when required. Be prepared to assist at all levels. Experience in working to target prices. Happy to travel (overseas) when required. Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Excel, PowerPoint & Word.
