Product Developer Job in Ferndown

The successful Product Developer would work with a fantastic team of like-minded people, on a project basis, using their creative flair to create new and innovative products.
Product Developer Duties & Responsibilities:
Project Management - Accountability for managing projects that deliver high-quality products for customers, on time and within budget. Manage all customer briefs ensuring the teams have detailed briefs and accurate information required for delivering proposals/tenders and orders. Work with the product team on roadmap development for your customer. Supplier Management – Understand costs and see if they can buy better, not being afraid to ask for help to find savings. Communication and cost negotiation with customers and suppliers. Work with the compliance and operations teams to ensure you work with validated production facilities. Review any potential cost increases after order confirmation to see if these can be avoided before being raised to an Account Manager. Process Management and regular critical path related meetings with colleagues. Communication and Stakeholder Management - Hold necessary meetings as well as make time for others to discuss workload/orders/issues in detail. Team and Workload Management - Manage your own projects through the E2E process, time management, initiative & taking total ownership of the customer brief. Help to save workload from the Team Leader by being the go-to person for your team for escalations/challenges. Knowledge & Experience
Product development or product management experience. Creative with an eye for detail. Excellent communication skills. Able to manage workload effectively. Salary & Benefits:
