Product Developer Job in New Milton Our client is an award-winning, environmentally aware business, who supplies to major retailers every year. They are recruiting a Product Developer to join them. As a Product Developer, you will be creative and hands-on to lead the NPD for one of the accounts and be an integral part of the customer-facing team. You will be responsible for leading all aspects of Product Development for your account in all phases of the critical path, to ensure the business hits key stages and deadlines. Duties and Responsibilities: Monitor and maintain NPD process Be the key point of contact for the Customer/Developer for NPD Present products to the customer Develop year-round ranges for the customer Creating innovative offers which are strategic for both parties Ensure internal and external stakeholders are on track Creating product presentations including trends Creating bespoke offers/products for the customer Dealing with external suppliers including sampling Attaining quotes and collaborating with account managers Preparing products and packaging Have an awareness of competitor products Participate in competitor research days Attend meetings and working sessions Demonstrate approved products to business Skills and Experience: Effective communication skills, verbal and written Excellent time management Self-motivated and proactive Able to handle pressure and tight deadlines Understanding of Design Principles and Process Microsoft Office and Adobe proficient Creative flair and solution-based mindset Salary and Benefits: A salary of £DOE per annum 24 days holiday plus Bank Holidays Pension scheme Free on-site parking Working office-based Monday – Friday 7.30 am – 4.30 pm – occasional day working from home Learning, growth and development opportunities within the department This Product Developer Job in New Milton would suit candidates who are commercially aware, and who can take customers’ requirements from concept to store, as well as having a genuine interest in product development.
