Mode Search is exclusively supporting an upscale British menswear brand in their search for a Product Developer / Production Manager.
Reporting to the Senior Designer, you will demonstrate extensive knowledge of production & overseas sourcing processes within the menswear industry.
The Role
- Work closely with Designers
- Manage relationships with overseas manufacturer
- Liaise with design and commercial teams to coordinate timeframes and range
- Negotiate costs and operate regular supplier reviews in line with the brand’s values
- Organize raw material sourcing and sample production
- Set delivery calendar and address any potential delays
- Review quality standards & compliance with orders
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years experience in product development in RTW – preferably menswear, jerseys or knits
- Understanding of quality control processes
- Proficient in Excel & reporting
- Strong decision-making skills and a results-driven approach
