We are currently supporting a leading provider of engineering innovation, renowned for their commitment to excellence and continuous improvement. Specialising in the development of cutting-edge products, our client is expanding their team and seeking proactive individuals to join their dynamic and forward-thinking environment. The successful Product Development Engineer will be responsible for: Analyse existing products to identify areas for improvement and update documentation. Propose and approve alternative components for company products where necessary. Identify and liaise with suppliers to source suitable materials and products. Collaborate with key suppliers and attend market events to stay ahead of industry trends. Conceptualise new product ideas and design prototypes using CAD software as required. Test products during the design process to troubleshoot potential issues. Fine-tune designs to ensure they are production-ready. Deliver product specifications and procedures to manufacturing and test teams. Produce documentation and provide training for new products. Contribute to departmental and business-wide KPI objectives. The successful Product Development Engineer will have:

Minimum qualifications at HND or Degree level in Electrical or Electronic Engineering (or equivalent experience and training). Experience in Power Electronics Design, Micro-Processor Hardware Design, Micro-Processor Software Programming, PCB Layout Design, and Analogue Circuit Design.
