My client is an award winning Product provider in the Insurance and Financial Services sector and, due to significant new developments in the business, they are looking for an experienced Product Development Manager to join their friendly team. Working initially in the protection area duties will include:
Managing the full cycle product development process from concept through to launch for both existing and planned products.
Conduct market review for product development opportunities.
Conduct market and competitor research and analysis to help inform business strategy.
Work closely with marketing, actuarial, underwriting and claims teams to ensure products are aligned across departments.
Analyse product performance in order to gain insights to drive performance and client experience.
Work closely with sales and customer service teams.
Provide analysis and commentary to the management team relating to product performance and market challenges and opportunities.
Applicants must possess product development experience from the Insurance or Financial Services sector from initial concept through to product launch. You will possess strong analytical skills with the ability to translate insights into product strategy. Commercial acumen and prior project experience will be key along with good knowledge of the UK regulatory landscape. Excellent communication skills and a creative approach are imperative with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross functional teams in order to achieve the organisation's product strategy.
