A well-established British manufacturer that specializes in the design and development of premium mobility aids is recruiting a Product Development Specialist.

This role is heavily research and development focused where you will be responsible for supporting the design, development, and improvements of the products and processes. This will encompass aspects of product design, testing, technical documentation, and customer support.

THE ROLE: Work with engineering and production teams to understand objectives and constraints. Use CAD software to create and refine technical drawings. Create and test prototypes, making recommendations for further improvements. Maintain a register of technical drawings, product specifications, and other relevant documents. Support quality audits. Proactively recommend improvements to processes and product quality. Respond to technical enquiries.

KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE: Proficient in CAD software and technical drawings Experience in prototype development and testing Strong analytical skills, with a problem-solving mindset Familiar with regulatory and quality standards, with an understanding of the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Strong collaborative abilities, with a proactive approach to teamwork.

SALARY & BENEFITS: - £30,000 - 20 days holiday + public holidays - Contributory pension - Free onsite car parking.
