Product Development Technologist

Major Recruitment is seeking an experienced Product Development Technologist to join our client's manufacturing site near Maidenhead.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop new recipes and update existing recipes in line with customer briefs. Make samples for customers, source ingredients, and update costings. Prepare and present samples for customer meetings. Develop an understanding of key trends and customer brands to steer your development. Work closely with the Process Technologist and Production teams to ensure recipes are fully scalable.
What's in it for you?
Salary up to £35,000 dependent on experience. 25 days holiday + bank holidays. Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours per week. Pension Fund. Career progression.
Skills & Knowledge:
Degree in Food Science or equivalent. At least 2 years of experience in a NPD role. A natural passion for food, especially baking. Highly organized with the ability to manage your own workload. Highly motivated with good attention to detail and ability to learn quickly. Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively at all levels. IT literate with strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
