Product Development Technologist

to join our client's site at their manufacturing site near Maidenhead. Key Responsibilities: You will work as part of our innovative NPD team developing new recipes as well as updating existing recipes in line with customer briefs. Key tasks include making up samples for customers, sourcing ingredients, updating costings as well as preparing and presenting samples for customer meetings. You will also develop your understanding of key trends, customer brands and use insights to steer your development. The role will involve working closely with the Process Technologist and Production teams to ensure your recipes are fully scalable. What's in it for you? Salary up to £35,000 dependent on experience 25 days holiday + bank holidays Monday - Friday 37.5 hrs per week Pension Fund Career progression Skills & Knowledge: Degree in Food Science or equivalent. At least 2 years' experience of working within a NPD role. You will have a natural passion for food, especially baking, be highly organised and able to manage your own workload. Be highly motivated with a good attention to detail, ability to learn quickly and get started on new projects. Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively at all levels.
