We are seeking a talented individual to join a leading provider of premium quality products to food manufacturers, foodservice, and retailers throughout the UK. About the Product Development Technologist job Reporting to the NPD Controller, you will play a key role in developing new recipes and updating existing ones to meet customer briefs. Working closely with the Process Technologist and Production teams, you’ll ensure your recipes are scalable and ready for production. Key tasks Collaborate with our innovative NPD team to develop new recipes and refine existing ones based on customer briefs. Prepare customer samples, source ingredients, update costings, and assist in presenting samples during customer meetings. Build a strong understanding of key market trends, customer brands, and insights to guide product development. Contribute to the creation of exciting, high-quality products that align with customer expectations and industry standards. About You Degree in Food Science or equivalent as well as experience of working within an NPD role. You will have a natural passion for food, especially baking, be highly organised and able to manage your own workload. Be highly motivated with a good attention to detail, ability to learn quickly and get started on new projects. More details The Product Development Technologist job (ref:8837) is paying £30,000 according to your experience. The package includes Company Events, Company Pension, Cycle to work scheme, Free Parking, Life Insurance, Health and Wellbeing Programme. The working hours are Monday to Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm or 9:00am - 5:00pm with half hour for lunch. The site is near Slough and is commutable from Windsor, Reading, High Wycombe, Bracknell, Maidenhead, Ascot (Berkshire and Buckinghamshire).
