Premier Engineering is seeking a skilled Product Engineer to join our client's team in Eastbourne. This is an exciting opportunity to work on product development and improvement projects, contributing to the delivery of high-quality solutions in a fast-paced environment.
The Product Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
Experience in a product engineering or development role within a manufacturing or engineering environment A degree or relevant qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, or a related field Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Inventor, or similar) Knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and product lifecycle management Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams Excellent organizational and time-management skills Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
The Product Engineer role will involve:
Designing and developing new products and components to meet customer requirements Identifying opportunities for product improvement and implementing effective solutions Collaborating with design, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure smooth product delivery Conducting testing, prototyping, and validation of products Preparing and maintaining technical documentation and specifications Supporting the resolution of technical issues throughout the product lifecycle Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product performance and efficiency
