About the Role: The Product Manager, R&C APIs is responsible for the coordination and overall management of the functional product development lifecycle for Risk & Compliance’s API business. This role reports directly into the Senior Director of Integration Products and will be part of the Risk & Research Product Team and will require regular interaction and liaison with Dow Jones technology team as well as third-party teams. It is the responsibility of the Product Manager to ensure that both the existing Product features are operating as specified and all new product features are defined, specified, scoped, scheduled, delivered and communicated both internally and to our client base. Although the role is focused on the API area of our business, the remit will also cover some elements of Feeds product management. You Will: Develop the high-level requirements for all new API product enhancements and product features, including areas touching the feeds business. Be responsible for management of the API Product Roadmap and associated delivery and internal testing schedule. Define the Roadmap Prioritisation and ensure this is clearly understood by relevant Technology partners. Be a key contributor to the Sprint Planning and Backlog Management, ensuring that agreed priorities are adhered to, minor changes are progressed and the Backlog is maintained to retain Engineering utilisation. Assist with the communications (internally and externally) of all new feature releases and maintenance of user guides. Interact with both Sales and Customers to support understanding of contracted products, collect feedback on usage and suggestions for enhancements and expansions. Work with Sales to develop solutions to customer specific needs, especially with respect to specialized data needs. You Have: 4+ YOE, or exposure, to Product Management with a proven product delivery track record. Good technical know-how including a good understanding of the full software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies (Scrum). Strong Project Management experience, with Programme Management capability preferable. Ability to work independently and manage your own API business. Demonstrable experience in scoping, budgeting, scheduling and delivering complex project implementations. Ability to understand client and product requirements and influence prioritisation decisions with senior management. Advanced stakeholder management, managing relationships with senior stakeholders, both within Dow Jones and externally within our clients. Knowledge of the Risk & Compliance industry beneficial but not essential.
