We are looking for an effective Product Manager to join our Data Science team. You will plan, coordinate, and execute on product spec-driven Data Science projects. You will work very closely with your direct line manager as you learn the in-house playbook. Managing and communicating with stakeholders up and down the value chain – from the technical details to more client-facing aspects – is a key part of this role. What will you be doing

Enhance the utilization of the capabilities of the Data Science Studio. Plan, coordinate, and execute on product spec-driven Data Science projects according to the in-house playbook for integration within the Data Science Studio. A non-exhaustive list of what this entails: Build rapport with all relevant internal stakeholders for the project. Clarify the high-level vision for the product and the integration with the Data Science Studio. Formalize the practical requirements necessary to achieve the high-level vision and produce all the necessary documentation needed for the product spec. Seek out and coordinate all the necessary resources to deliver on the product. Plan out the timelines and work allocations in Gantt chart format. Manage the timely execution of the planned work. Communicate on progress to the steering committee and line manager. Manage expectations and protect the project from feature creep. Work with Data Science to advance the Data Science Studio, Possibility Curves and Forward Curves. Skills and Experience

Strong desire and passion to learn. Comfortable in fluid situations where you’re the one that brings structure and direction. Strong stakeholder management skills. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Willingness to put in the work to get a project done. Good product sense/intuition. Ability to multi-task against multiple projects. Comfortable working in a matrix organization, i.e. project-based reporting lines and collaborators. Nice to have: Domain knowledge in any commodity sector. What’s in it for you
