Director, Product & Change Management Job Purpose:

The highly competitive US generic pharmaceutical sector continues to challenge every element of the supply chain. In this constantly changing environment, patients can be served through multiple channels in new & different ways, whilst those that dispense prescriptions, the wholesale distributors that supply them and manufacturers all have to react and respond to how the sector is evolving, which is also heavily influenced by payers, regulatory bodies and federal & state law. To succeed in this environment requires organisations to adapt and change and, at ClarusONE, we play a key role in working alongside multiple stakeholders to deliver the most efficient supply chain model whilst generating value for our Members, their customers and patients through innovative sourcing solutions. The Product Manager (Digital Solutions) is responsible for the roadmap for our core, in-house developed products enabling the sourcing operation at ClarusONE. The role is a key individual contributor, leading through collaboration and prioritisation the design, development, deployment, and value-realisation of products to support the ClarusONE business. The role is expected to be a source of expertise bridging our customers, stakeholders, data, analytics, engineering and UX functions through a balanced understanding of the business domain, the as-is situation, versus the future opportunities ‘just now’ viable through the latest technology. The role will develop in collaboration with the Business Unit and teams linked to both Technology/Analytics and the Business Functions; Product Roadmaps, Delivery Plans, a backlog of feature ideas, and Deployment & Change Management Plans. Resources and stakeholders may be geographically distributed in one or more of the regions where we have business operations or services. Responsibilities:

Product Vision Development – the role is responsible for contributing to the vision’s development by sharing well-developed thinking, by collating information from various stakeholders (both internal and external) and performing research both quantitative and qualitative. The role must be able to communicate that vision to stakeholders and the team. Using AGILE SDLC principles, the role will be responsible, with the team, for developing a structured plan which oversees the delivery of the product or solution through from inception to deployment. The role is responsible for the management of the overall roadmap for the products in-scope, ensuring the objectives are met and risks managed. The role is responsible for delivering regular roadmap updates. Product backlog management - the role is responsible for decomposing the roadmap into stories, which make up the Product Backlog. Working with their teammates, particularly engineering and UX, they are responsible for prioritizing and creating a release plan based on the Backlog. Roadmap Management – The role is responsible for developing and updating the product roadmap. This will require the role to interface with other Product Managers (internally and externally) to ensure that there is roadmap alignment. The roadmap will be articulated in measurable outcomes and results identified by the product manager. Facilitation and contribution to the product-trio of Product, Engineering and UX, at the earliest point in the discovery process, to ideate the best solution options and clearly explain the scope of the problem(s) to be solved. Data analysis – the product manager must analyse quantitative and qualitative data using a variety of sources, to ensure they are conversant on the user experience of those using the product. These sources will include application metrics and user survey data. UX/design – the product manager will create wireframes and identify priority user experience areas, collaborating with the UX team to ensure personas and other UX artefacts are representative of the problem and opportunity areas. Market research – keeping informed of market landscape conditions and changes relevant to the product, across the pharmaceuticals, sourcing and technology landscape. Communication – communicating across business functions, shared services and external stakeholders to ensure that there is visibility into the delivery direction, schedule and progress. As these stakeholders are dependent on the products we produce, they must have regular and useful updates to allow them to plan their business activities. Be the functional and subject matter expert for the product. Requirements:

Experience working as a Product Manager/Owner or Product Operations specialist, designing and developing software solutions. Experience working in a software development environment using any AGILE SDLC methodology. Bachelor’s degree beneficial but not required. Knowledge/Skills:

Proven Communication – the ability to communicate at all levels, the role will need to be able to communicate effectively with their team, a peer network of stakeholders, senior executives, technical resources as well as staff in other countries. Demonstrated Problem solving – the role will have to be able to assimilate information from a variety of sources and develop a coherent strategy and product roadmap for meeting those needs. Track record of Quality delivery – The role must have high personal standards and always work to deliver the very best product.
