Product Manager / Marketer

West Birmingham (Onsite)

£40,000 + Bonus + Company Car


A leading specialist in medical mobility equipment are currently looking for a hands-on product specialist to join their team. You’ll introduce best in class products into the UK & Eire market, conduct benchmarking and set market pricing, develop sales, marketing, and training tools to assist the implementation of products into both internal and external customers.


Presenting product launches is a key part of this role, therefor the right candidate must be willing to travel regularly, and must be comfortable presenting to large audiences at national and international events.


Responsibilities:


  • Total ownership of the new product introduction process, and product lifecycle from launch to discontinuation
  • Developing marketing proposals for new products i.e. copy writing, brochures, posters, social media, digital content, sale support tools
  • Conducting market and competitor analysis and setting end product and spares market pricing
  • Input into commercial strategies via new product commercial kick off meetings
  • Delivering product sales & technical training for new products to both internal and external customers
  • Support the marketing team with organisation, strategy, and follow-up for events
  • Attend and support the set up and delivery of all UK marketing events including: One off trade and end user exhibitions (PMG, Naidex, ESS), one off product launch events & annual NHS product awareness days


Requirements:


  • Experience of technical B2B product marketing or sales
  • Must have expereince with physical products (not SaaS)
  • Excellent communication skills both written & verbal
  • Proficient with Microsoft Package and Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Must have excellent & confident presentation skills
  • Technical aptitude, curiosity around products and how they work
  • Ability to learn quickly and understand technical products
  • Ability to take complex terminology and translate into easily accessible language
  • Must be willing to travel (must hold a valid UK driver’s license)


The ideal candidate will have a desire to learn and take full ownership of the product portfolio, this role will suit someone curious and ambitious with an interest in the medical sector.
