Job Description

PRODUCT MANAGER JOB SUMMARY To be an authority on all aspects of the Allen & Heath Avantis and dLive product range. To drive the product planning, launching, marketing and lifecycle management of the product range. KEY DUTIES Product Management & Product Marketing Support product launches and targeted marketing campaigns, including production of multimedia content. Author and curate product documentation. Inform product marketing to successfully position and promote the products. Work with the Marketing team in developing overall brand vision and strategy with regards to the digital console market. Attend international trade shows and support the technical aspects thereof. Develop programs and deliver trainings to educate distributors, dealers, rental companies and engineers on the products. Product Planning Undertake market research in the digital console market. Keep track of competition and analyse opportunities / threats supporting the company’s strategic direction. Liaise with R&D on the specification and development of new products and software releases. Represent the customer’s voice, collating and prioritising feature requests, and providing market intelligence. Business Planning Work with the Sales team to identify sector related growth opportunities. Assess market potential for products and solutions in the sector. PERSON SPECIFICATION QUALIFICATIONS Degree or other suitably equivalent qualification or level of knowledge EXPERIENCE Knowledge of the live and rental market Technical background Familiarity with digital mixing systems Experience of sound engineering Experience of writing and implementing product documentation ATTRIBUTES Well-developed analytical and evaluative skills High degree of accuracy and attention to detail DISPOSITION Well-developed presentation skills Individual should be a self-starter, willing to work in an independent and flexible work environment OTHER REQUIREMENTS Ability to travel internationally
