Job Specification – Product Manager, IT Overview An exciting business with a significant growth plan over the next three years and they need your help to enable the achievement of goals, supporting both colleagues and customers. Based mainly in Leeds at our brand new offices in Thorpe Park, working closely with IT and Operational teams, there is also scope for some remote working by agreement. This role reports directly into the IT Director, and has a competitive benefits package including free private healthcare and subsidised pension. Indicative responsibilities and activities are as follows: Responsible for the management of the IT delivery agenda for the business

Working with business teams to understand and anticipate their requirements from our core IT systems (Orderwise ERP and Vector POS) to ensure our customers receive the best possible experience Manage high level and detailed requirements with IT development team to ensure outputs are fit for purpose Own a credible 90 day roadmap of development delivery Support the overall strategy of the business over the 3 year plan period

Applying appraisal rationale to select and sequence activity

Understand the cost / benefit of each project and recommend sequencing accordingly Clarify success factors and outputs required Manage risks and issues beforehand and in flight

Collaborating with all impacted parties before, during and after implementation

Work closely with customer facing business teams and back office functions Work with internal and external IT parties to deliver objectives

Responsibility for the implementation of the development agenda and end to end delivery of outputs

Ownership of the macro / micro critical path plan for overall development and small changes Ensure that projects are on time and completed to specification

Management of live product incidents and the rapid resolution of issues

Understand real time challenges presented to customers as a result of external and internal forces Develop rapid solutions to mitigate risk to customer experience

Success Factors: Translating business and technology strategy into a roadmap

Able to confidently prioritise delivery of high value and future strategic plans Understanding dependencies between projects and stakeholders

Communicating well with stakeholders at all levels and in various teams

Particularly IT, Store Operations, Supply Chain, Commercial, Marketing

Sharing insight of benefits to be delivered

Covering subjective ROCE as well as more objective measures such as colleague engagement and customer satisfaction Able to confidently explain expected benefits

Contribute to a positive culture within the team and the overall business

Be part of a dynamic team that works rapidly to deliver the best results for colleagues and customers Play a key part in delivering the businesses 3 year plan

Applying a good commercial acumen, with a focus on customers and key outputs

Being aware of the cost benefit trade offs for project selection and make sure the business focusses in the most effective options

Working at pace in a dynamic environment

Being comfortable in an agile environment and able to manage change effectively and actively
