We are working with a European leading organisation on the lookout for a Product Manager to join their team in Warwick. This is an incredible opportunity to join a great company within a fantastic team.

As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for managing specific product ranges by defining the product marketing strategy, including regional portfolio, pricing, market research, competitor analysis, NPI, product and service launches, including the management of high-profile claims escalated via Technical Support.

You will be accountable for all product management of your products in the UK as well as approvals for all products marketed and sold in the UK. You will have ownership of all aspects of the PLC and define, develop and maintain the product portfolio. You will support and enable profitable growth of the product portfolio.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Formulation of product/market strategy, development and implementation of product marketing plans including prices and margins, market position and share, and new product introduction. Product set up and maintenance of the product ranges including POP & PIM processes. Undertake market, competitor research and analysis in defining and supporting the strategy - maintain an accurate and insightful MIS. Lead new product introduction projects and coordinate product launch plans. Liaise with group product management regarding all product related issues and input into group product planning to ensure suitability of product launch for UK requirements. Develop and deliver internal/external product training modules and ensuring training facilities and tools are maintained. Provide technical support (internal / external) and handle the management of high-profile claims escalated via Technical Support. Liaise with group and local quality and technical management. Support Marketing & Communications on development of key messages, market and customer segmentation and general MarComs activities involving product (exhibitions, case studies). Provide regular, insightful analysis of product performance - sales, price, customer, market share and develop corrective action at SKU and customer level (sales, marketing, product actions). Manage phase-in and phase-out activities.

KEY SKILLS: 2 years of product / category management experience. Degree qualified in relevant technical discipline - Engineering, product design, architecture or relevant pure discipline. Good organisational and planning ability. Experienced with delivering projects OTIF. Good communication skills. Good analytical skills with strong attention to detail. Experience of working within an international group. Strategic thinker, forward thinking. Planning and implementation. Self-starter. Credible within a technical environment. Approachable and personable.
