The role: As a Product Manager at TalkTalk, you will be responsible for driving the strategy and delivery of innovative consumer telecoms products and services within your category for our 2.5 million customers. You will be an expert in understanding customer needs, behaviours, and market trends, leveraging data and insights to shape product decisions. We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Product Manager to lead the vision, development and launch of a new proposition within our portfolio. This is an exciting opportunity to drive the creation of a new product or service that meets evolving customer needs, enhances business value, and strengthens our market position. You will play a pivotal role in defining, developing, and bringing the new offering to market, working cross-functionally to ensure its success. Key attributes we’re looking for: Customer-centric mindset Empowered decision maker Influencer Problem solver Able to collaborate Data led insights Able to thrive in a fast-paced, agile delivery environment The Team: Whilst part of the broader Product team you will work in an outcome-focused squad alongside a Designer, Product Tech lead and developers whilst collaborating with marketing, sales, commercial and operations teams to bring the proposition to life. Act as the bridge between technical and non-technical teams, ensuring alignment and efficient execution. Role Expectations: Develop and own the strategic vision for the new proposition, ensuring alignment with business goals and market needs. Conduct market research and customer interviews to identify gaps and opportunities. Lead the creation of a detailed product roadmap, prioritizing features and initiatives that deliver maximum value. Manage the product lifecycle, including the leadership of agile development squads, from ideation to launch and beyond. Work together with engineering and design teams to run effective product Discovery, selecting the right framework and methodology for the problem at hand. Maintain a deep understanding of customer pain points and needs. Continuously validate product features and solutions with customers to ensure the proposition delivers on its promise. Work with marketing and sales teams to develop go-to-market strategies, including positioning, messaging, pricing, and launch plans. Support product launches through training and collateral creation. Foster a culture of continuous feedback and iteration. Monitor market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activity to refine and evolve the product offering over time. Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of the product. Analyse and report on performance, making data-driven decisions to optimize the proposition post-launch. Develop solutions to problems by collaborating with internal and external stakeholders as needed across product areas and functions. Experience: Leadership and Impact Experience of storytelling and compelling product narratives to influence stakeholders Drive cross-functional collaboration and alignment across multiple teams and stakeholders Significant impact on company revenue, customer satisfaction, and market position Decision making Value prioritisation Product Management Knowledge and Expertise Expertise in product management methodologies including product discovery, backlog management, and delivery processes Significant familiarity with agile methodologies, leading agile development squads and product management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello, Asana) Significant experience with Design Thinking and System Design ways of working to create game-changing B2C digital experiences Proficient in data analysis and leveraging customer insights to inform product decisions Strong knowledge of product strategy, and prioritisation techniques Cognitive and Analytical Skills Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex problems and identify innovative solutions Skilled in interpreting and synthesising data from various sources to uncover insights and trends Ability to balance strategic thinking with tactical execution and attention to detail Interpersonal Skills Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and align cross-functional teams Collaborative and team-oriented, with the ability to build strong relationships and foster a positive team culture Skilled in facilitating discovery sessions Experience of creating senior leader presentations As a recognised Top 50 Inclusive Employer in the UK, we know that diversity means success and innovation.
