Working at the heart of digital transformation, a role is available for a Product Owner to take ownership and responsibility for driving adoption and embedding key technology solutions across the firm, whilst also delivering an exceptional client experience. This global Legal Professional Services group, operating within the UK, Europe, US, and Asia, has a reputation for delivering outstanding services and innovative product solutions. The business has established a track record for driving excellence within service delivery.

Key Responsibilities of the Product Owner

Leads and supports on projects within a specific legal tech workstream to both raise the profile of the team’s objectives firm-wide as well as ensuring it becomes embedded in day to day practice in line with the firm-wide strategy.

Embeds themselves within the firm collaborating with multiple senior stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver both strategic and operational legal technology solutions.

Have a specific focus of internally driving the awareness and adoption of legal tech solutions.

Takes a proactive role in upskilling stakeholders in tech solutions across the firm.

Manages multiple projects with the ability to prioritise work and achieve time sensitive deadlines.

Uses analytical skills to report on the team’s tech solutions usage to relevant stakeholders to better understand adoption, adoption gaps as well as barriers to adoption.

Deploys agile project management methodologies as well as IT best practice to provide an excellent and efficient service to all stakeholders.

Assists with any upgrades, integrations or configurations of existing tech.

Defines, designs, tests and implements new tech solutions that allows lawyers and fee earners to work more efficiently.

Acts as a point of escalation for any issues identified that cannot be resolved by the Support Teams.

Supports and attends the legal technology forum to further embed legal technology solutions and their capability across the firm.

Skills & Attributes of the Product Owner

Demonstratable experience of working with and delivering technology platforms and products essential.

Experience in legal or large professional services firm is ideal.

Certifications in different technologies or professional qualifications is highly desirable.

Experience in delivery methodologies like Waterfall and/or Agile and Product Ownership is desirable.

Experience with business analysis and/or project management.

Strong day to day self-management with a focus on service excellence.

Ability to deliver an outstanding client experience.

Has a strong technical ability and proficiency with the ability to translate this into an understandable manner for a variety of audiences to understand.

Excellent communication skills in a variety of situations and when dealing with a variety of challenging stakeholders.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to produce engaging, concise and timely management information and data.
