As our

Product Owner

of Dispatch & Fulfilment, you will be responsible for defining and developing the business requirements for our within our Roadside organisation. Reporting to the Lead Product Owner, supports the Road Operations roadmap. This role involves collaborating with business teams to ensure high-quality system solutions that optimise business benefits. Roadside Operations will undergo significant changes, starting with a new aim of driving efficiency, accountability, and innovative thinking, with a focus on data. This role contributes to the success of the Road Ops of the Future programme by providing valuable insights and ensuring business needs are met. Solutions may include regulatory changes, technology future-proofing, and new products, brands, functionality, and processes to enhance business operations. You will collaborate with partners and providers to enhance core applications for maximum business benefit. What will I be doing?

Identify and analyse business requirements, working closely with stakeholders to accurately capture and document the needs of the business. Utilise subject matter expertise to participate in design verification and functional testing, ensuring solutions meet specified requirements and are fit for purpose. Engage key stakeholders in requirement definition and demonstrations, and collaborate with test teams to define robust testing strategies. Collaborate with the Product Manager or Business Application Owner to develop and prioritise a backlog in line with business priorities. Contribute to project governance by maintaining comprehensive documentation and aligning project activities with organisational goals. Support service delivery by identifying dependencies and enablers, ensuring effective implementation of developed solutions. Provide valuable insights to ensure the success of projects and programs, meeting business needs effectively. Deliver regular updates to stakeholders, clearly articulating trends, risks, and opportunities, and summarising activities. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and customer outcomes, aiming for sustained cost reductions. Define and actively measure performance using both quantitative and qualitative KPIs. What do I need?

Capability, Knowledge and Experience: Experience in a change management role. Proven track record in large-scale business transformation projects. Ability to engage professionally with a diverse group of stakeholders, including Directors, managers, and subject matter experts. Familiarity with all stages of the Fleet life cycle and project management methodologies. Knowledge of IT terminology, including architectural models, database technologies, development methodologies, testing, and infrastructure. Demonstrable experience in process and data modelling, requirements capture, and analysis. Ability to facilitate workshops, lead discussions, and achieve consensus on decisions. Diligent, data-driven individual committed to continuous assessment and improvement. Subject matter expert capable of identifying comprehensive solutions that align with business requirements.
