Role Overview

The Source to Pay Product Owner is the global process owner for their designated process area responsible for defining and driving improvement to global standardised processes and approving localised exceptions and variations for the Source to Pay value stream. The Source to Pay Product Owner will work closely with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into actionable product features and strategies that align with our company's mission and values. This role will be responsible for the backlog grooming and refinement activities in a designated process area, ensuring work is well defined, sequenced, and aligned with business outcome objectives. Working with the value stream agile teams to plan and refine the technical solutions to be delivered. You Will

Requires specialised depth and/or breadth of expertise Collaborate with Business Process leads to understand and prioritize product requirements and strategic objectives. Define and maintain the product roadmap, outlining the vision and goals for the value stream and employee experience initiatives. Lead the development and implementation of solutions, from concept to delivery, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timelines. Gather feedback from end-users and stakeholders to inform product enhancements and iterations, focusing on improving usability and user satisfaction. Partner with our training and change management teams to continually update training literature and promote changes, enhancements, and opportunities. Champion a user-centric approach to product development, leveraging design thinking principles to empathize with users, define problem statements, ideate solutions, and prototype features. Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats within the technology landscape. Drive effective collaboration with cross-functional teams, including analysts, developers, and testers, to deliver high-quality, user-friendly products on schedule. Monitor key metrics and analytics to evaluate product performance, measure impact, and identify areas for optimization. Stay informed about industry best practices, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements related to Source to Pay and employee experience.
