£Attractive, depending on skills and experience Benefits: Generous Staff discount following probation period Auto-Enrolment Pension Scheme (NEST) Eye care vouchers & Flu jab vouchers Regular company events Job Description: We require an experienced product photographer to photograph our jewellery and then list our products on online sales platforms and social media platforms. Working closely with the ecommerce, marketing, and purchasing teams, this is an exciting opportunity to become part of the Argento team in Head Office. Job Summary: The in-house product photographer has a key role in delivering high volumes of product photography, including post-production editing and resizing, ensuring timely delivery of images for product listings and campaigns for ecommerce and social media. As our product photographer, you’ll be responsible for capturing high-quality images of our own brand and supplier products with the aim to elevate our brand quality across online channels and drive sales. To be successful in this role, you should have an in-depth understanding of e-com and product photography and the ability to accurately capture the unique features and styles of our products, while maintaining consistency with our overall brand. An essential part of the role involves lifestyle shots, such as photographing products with close-up shots of neck, ear, wrists, hands, etc. You’ll also be responsible for assisting with samples and inventory management, ensuring that the products needed for photography are readily available and organized for your tasks. Key Accountabilities: Produce high volumes of product photographs with a fast turnaround, ensuring timely delivery of images for product listings and campaigns Manage time effectively to meet project deadlines, ensuring all deliverables are completed promptly while maintaining high-quality standards Produce consistently high-quality product photographs ensuring they deliver a powerful impact and are in line with brand guidelines and visual storytelling Keep up to date with industry news and trends Ensure consistent styling, lighting, and attention to detail Keep accurate log of all products photographed Edit photographs with Photoshop Work with online content merchandiser and purchasing team to ensure products are shot and to deadline Ensure you are always working to the style guide to ensure consistency of product images, lighting, and color Assist in managing stock and inventory for photography, ensuring items are accounted for, organized, and accessible Maintain and organize photography equipment, samples, and props Help with deliveries of products and props for photoshoots, ensuring items are available on time Produce additional assets for the Online merchandiser, social media, and in-store graphics as required Work in a fast-paced environment with a high standard, prioritizing specific products/ranges as required Essential Criteria: 2 years proven experience of photography experience, ideally in ecommerce or high-quality product photography A portfolio showcasing relevant photography work (e.g., product) Experience of close-up photography of product, using lighting techniques, turntables, and videos for inclusion on website and social media platforms Proven extensive experience of Photoshop, Adobe Lightroom, Aperture, and Photoshop editing tools Experience with listing/posting to E-commerce and Social Media channels (Marketplace Platforms / Instagram / Facebook / YouTube) Full understanding of Camera lenses, lighting and nuances of shooting product photography as well as portrait Must be comfortable with photographing close-up skin shots of themselves (neck, ear, hands, wrist, etc) Excellent creative writing ability and presentation skills Ability to work under pressure, working independently, and as part of a team Ability to prioritize to ensure deadlines are met Experience in the use of Microsoft Office packages Excellent attention to detail Creative, hardworking, and demonstrate excellent commercial awareness Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills The ability to remain calm and clear-headed under pressure Open to feedback and other perspectives Approachable and flexible attitude to work Motivated, pro-active, self-starter, enthusiastic, and friendly disposition How to apply: If you are looking for a new challenge and feel you have the relevant experience, then we’d love to hear from you!
