We're looking for a highly analytical and strategic Product Portfolio Manager to lead and optimise our product portfolio, ensuring we continue to innovate and grow in the skincare market. Reporting to our Head of Product, this position involves deep data analysis to identify key risks and opportunities, steering product strategy and optimising our assortment. This is a new role looking holistically at opportunities across the whole portfolio to evolve & protect our market position. This role will be based in our Innovation Centre in Aston Clinton, Aylesbury (HP22 5WJ), with occasional travel to our HQ in Elstree (WD6 3SZ). We operate hybrid working with this role expectation being an average 3 days per week in the office. Key Responsibilities: Develop and lead the product portfolio management function, identifying opportunities for growth and mitigating risks through detailed data analysis. Evaluate the current assortment, making recommendations for discontinuations, category expansions, or new strategic product additions. Conduct in-depth competitor research to identify potential opportunities within the portfolio. Elevate existing product claims and stories to ensure our portfolio remains innovative, leading clinical trials and claims testing with external research houses. Oversee existing product developments to drive growth, while ensuring minimal disruption to the consumer experience. Support product forecasting through data-driven insights. Work closely with new product development, sales, marketing, and regional teams to align portfolio strategies and ensure market success. Requirements: Significant experience in the FMCG industry, with a strong preference for experience in beauty or skincare. Strong understanding of the skincare market and trends. Proven track record in data-driven analysis and reporting within the beauty industry. Demonstrated ability to manage a portfolio of products and develop strategies for growth. Advanced data manipulation and analytical skills. Exceptional attention to detail and clear communication skills. Experience in running clinical trials to obtain skincare claims would be an advantage. About us
