We are now looking for a

Sales Manager - Port- and Vessel Traffic Management Systems

for South East Asia to join our team. The position is a

permanent

opportunity. The location for the position is based in Europe preferably in one of these locations:

Helsinki - Finland ,

Fareham - UK ,

Hamburg - Germany , or

Schiedam - Netherlands .

What will you be doing

Build and develop strong and professional customer relationships

Execute sales strategy and drive profitable sales growth

Collect in-depth knowledge about customers' business (e.g., port operations, Simulation and Training) and relevant needs

Account management

Being a subject matter expert to customers

Lead tender responses and manage bid teams

Secure accurate and timely production of bid documentation, sales quotations and associated proposals, including timely submissions

Deliver and support product presentations and demos to customers in projects or at conferences

Conduct market intelligence and provide customer- and market inputs for product development

Tailor sales material (e.g., PPT presentation for customer meetings)

Collaborate with marketing to drive consultative selling

Project Partner management

Close cooperation with our project delivery team, product management, and advisory services

Main requirements in this role are:

Relevant (higher) education and work experience with a proven track record in successfully driving sales in challenging markets and tender business

In-depth knowledge of the marine industry and customer requirements in Port Operations and Vessel Traffic management environments

Good knowledge or exposure to relevant products and solutions (VTS, VTMS, PMIS, SIM, etc.) in the market

Strong customer focus and capability of building long-term relationships in complex buyer relationships

Strong drive for performance with a positive attitude

Good communication skills (customer and colleagues)

Strategic thinking balanced with tactical and strategic issues

Strong attention to detail and ability to take ownership of tasks

Encourage the exchange of ideas and collaboration across organizational boundaries

Strong contributor towards developing a healthy team spirit and team dynamics
