Role Description: The Product Specialist will

work on project-based Analyser interfacing with existing Winpath LIMs laboratory installations. They will carry out project-based activity as directed to satisfy the customer and business requirements, specifically within the Third Party Systems and After Sales Programmes. They will act in a consultative role, with the customer, in carrying out proactive and reactive based maintenance and configuring the Clinisys Software to enhance the workflow of the laboratory. Responsibilities: To understand our customers’ workflow, advise and assist with CliniSys products and configuration to facilitate these needs. To map, configure, troubleshoot, and connect analysers to the relevant middleware and Winpath LIMS. Configure reporting Dashboards and Path manager software in line with the customers’ requirements. Attend workshops and go-lives at customer sites to ensure that the product is delivered as efficiently as possible. To participate in an on-call rota for early life support for project go-lives. To understand and operate the escalation procedure within the defined limits of time, knowledge and level of contracted support. Work with Project manager on the implementation; that will include time management, resource planning and working with Trust or Customer IT representatives. Comprehend the Customers’ requirements as specified in the PID (Project Initiation Document), and the design document presented at the Sales stage. To be fully conversant with the functionality of the Pathology product of your discipline. To make recommendations based on customer feedback with regard to software changes and enhancements. To comply with the CliniSys codes of conduct and guidelines. Deliver relevant courses for key users of pathology, as required. Contribute to and support Pathology team members and build knowledge base. To attend team meetings and agreed training courses. To be responsive to reasonable requests from your line manager or project managers. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: BMS status or extensive lab experience in the UK Health sector. Self-motivated – can deliver the tasks in difficult circumstances. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; including communicating with technical and non-technical clients and staff at all organisational levels. High levels of commitment and ability to take action when necessary. Ability and willingness to work independently. High level of customer service skills. Excellent decision making / problem solving skills. Strong planning and organisational skills. Adaptability / flexible to changing demands. Ability to implement and manage change. Previous experience of analyser interfacing preferred. Previous experience of HL7/XML/Pathology integration implementation/troubleshooting preferred.
