The Product Specialist - Knees is a hybrid sales and marketing role and provides product management of our Orthopaedic knee products to meet tactical and financial objectives. The knee specialist is a customer-facing, in-field role and works closely with customers in our key accounts. The role creates, supports, and drives a tactical marketing plan for our knee products. Working with the marketing and sales leadership teams, the role is responsible for developing market share acquisition through various elements of the marketing mix (including sales channel development, technical product support, pricing, medical education, and direct communication). The Product Specialist owns and develops our customer relationships, including the development of the next generation of key customers. To deliver this you will be: Providing in theatre support to strategic accounts and surgeons in partnership with our field sales teams. Supporting field sales with tender submissions for new business and pitching to clinical and non-clinical customers. Responsible for regional brand growth across knee products. Partnering with our sales team to help engage and train our key customers on your products. Develop key relationships and work with customers to identify opportunities for growth around surgical or clinical technique/procedures across the region. These may not always be in target accounts. Develop KOL management and development plan across the region. Undertake market intelligence, research, and market analysis to ensure a thorough understanding of the market, future trends, and the franchise, category, or brand performance. Input into developing a market-leading medical education and customer engagement plan. Input, develop, and communicate the marketing plan for the franchise. Provide S+N representation and input into external meetings and exhibitions. To be successful in this role you'll need: Strong commercial sales experience with orthopaedic products in the medical technology industry is essential for this role. Additionally, we're looking for someone with a track record of success selling into the NHS and someone that can build relationships with both clinical and non-clinical customers.
