Product Specialist – Surgical (Belfast/ Dublin)

Our client is a sales, marketing, and technical services company. Their purpose is to deliver products and solutions to assist healthcare providers achieve optimum clinical outcomes.

To provide procedural and product expertise to targeted customers and Key Opinion Leaders (KOL) through field travel, meeting attendance, and educational seminars. You will deliver education to healthcare personnel on product applications and benefits, while developing and supporting strong procurement and clinical relationships and managing all aspects of business in the field. Products (not limited to): Gynaecological Health, Breast augmentation, reconstruction, and gluteal augmentation, Reconstructive Tissue Matrix, operating theatre essentials.

Northern Ireland or Dublin

Responsibilities: Not limited to but will include: Generate profitable territory sales in line with annual, quarterly and monthly sales targets through a combination of appropriate activities with existing and potential customers. Attain required objectives designed to influence fiscal revenue, market share, and profitability. Actively gather market intelligence on our own and competitor portfolio/activities. Establish strong working relationships with a range of senior health professionals. Provide technical training and support to theatre personnel on the use of the medical devices as required. Assist in product evaluations and clinical studies as appropriate. Explore new customers, market potential, and business opportunities. Prioritise objectives and schedule work to make best use of time and resources. Participate in trade shows, training, and marketing activities. Develop and maintain customer database and equipment install base. Maintain accurate records for the territory. Provide timely reports on sales activity to line manager. Education/Experience: Experience in a theatre setting is an advantage. Previous knowledge/sales experience within the Medical Device sector is desirable. Ability to meet frequently with customers and other decision-makers. Ability to travel frequently throughout assigned territory and assist in other territories as required. Ability to travel abroad for training. A strong degree of motivation with a flexible and enthusiastic mindset. Full clean Driver’s license. Establish and maintain good working and interpersonal relationships. Make decisions and take responsibility. Produce results, prioritizing objectives and scheduling work to make best use of time and resources.
