Oregon Timber Frame (OTF), one of the UK’s largest timber frame manufacturers and a division of Barratt Developments PLC, Britain’s largest housebuilder, following an acquisition in 2019. We specialise in the design, manufacture, supply and erection of structural timbers to all divisions across the Barratt Group. Job Purpose: To assist the production team with the day-to-day administrative duties in our Derby factory. Responsibilities: Deal with client & OCM scheduling requests (phone & email) Schedule delivery dates in FrameIT Maintain production board Assist the production team with inputting daily manufacturing data Produce and issue cutting lists for saws Order and record drawings and cutting lists using our FrameIT system Print panel labels and job sheets Print site drawings and relevant paperwork Check in deliveries and record on FrameIT system Use hsbMake software to load work to our automated production line What you'll need?
Essential Skills: Good time management: Ability to prioritise workload in a timely manner Computer literate in the use of Microsoft Office applications Excellent numeracy skills Organised and methodical Teamworking: Team player with a "can do" attitude Desirable Skills: Previous experience of timber frame construction, preferable but not essential as appropriate training will be given Excellent communication skills, both written and oral as you will deal with colleagues / OCM and Clients Strong inter-personal and coordinating abilities Ability to plan and manage workload Knowledge of hsbMake software (or similar), preferable but not essential as appropriate training will be given.
