We are currently recruiting for a Production and Test Engineer to join the EthosEnergy Light Turbines team in Dyce, Aberdeen. The Purpose of this role is to provide engineering support to production and test functions within EthosEnergy Aberdeen and Lincoln. Job Responsibilities

Work with the team supporting the production and testing processes Provide technical support, advice, guidance and as required approval on engine performance and testing issues Development and Maintain Performance Database and Performance Testing Program to allow testing of all relevant gas turbines within EthosEnergy Group Light Turbines Ltd. Participate or lead, test failure investigations and supporting through to resolution of the issue and capturing and supporting implementation improvements. Participate in the delivery of technical reports as requested, including Customer Reports Participate in, as appropriate, capital expenditure requests supporting development in line with tasks above, obtaining approval through management and above as necessary Participate in improvements in processes aligned to product overhaul and test to optimise Quality, Cost and Delivery Project manage specific tasks, as assigned, in line with targets of the facility product Overhaul and testing capabilities Comply with company and local HSE requirements through both own actions and through encouraging others. Participate in Customer Complaint issue resolution as required Participate and initiate new process and procedure introduction and implementation, supporting product developments and targets for cost reduction, productivity improvements and HSE issue resolution Support of Sales and Contract Execution in Gas Turbine related performance discussions. Required Skills / Knowledge

Knowledge and understanding of ISO2314 and PTC22 gas turbine performance calculations Detailed knowledge of Energia Siemensa range of small Industrial Gas Turbines Influencing skills, and ability to accomplish tasks when the performers are not necessarily in the direct line of authority Strong attention to detail Carry out required tasks with strong follow through and closure Developing effective working relations with multiple internal and external groups Delivering improvements in overhaul and test quality, cost, delivery and responsiveness Good English written and verbal communications Experience

In-depth understanding of gas turbines overhaul, operation and testing, including combustion systems, vibration analysis techniques Substantial experience in gas turbine testing essential Experience in a workshop and test environment Education Requirements

Degree qualified in relevant engineering discipline or equivalent work experience Physical Requirements
