We are looking for talented
Production Associates
to join our team specializing in
Manufacturing
for our
Plant Operations
department at
Cummins
in
Darlington, UK. This is a 1-month temporary rolling contract for 18 months then transfer to permanent. Working a weekly rotating shift pattern, you should be able to commit to both shifts: • Monday – Friday: 6.00am to 2.00pm • Monday – Thursday: 2.00pm to 11.30pm In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: Operate machines and production equipment to manufacture parts. Maintain both quality and safety standards while following HSE guidelines. Remain flexible and perform other miscellaneous tasks as required to meet production goals. RESPONSIBILITIES To be successful in this role you will need the following: Welding experience - a recognized qualification and experience in Mig Welding is required for this position. (Applicants will be required to demonstrate Mig welding competence before an offer of employment will be made). Manufacturing knowledge. Ability to work under their own initiative within the recognized process. Ability to self-manage in order to achieve production targets. QUALIFICATIONS Education/ Experience: Mig Welding – qualified or time served Mig welding competence is required. High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations. Requires some work experience or intermediate level knowledge obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.
