Partner with the best Production Control Team Lead will be responsible for overseeing shift of technicians within the PCS workshop, reporting into the Operations Lead. As a Production Control Team Lead, you will be responsible for: Ability to lead a team effectively and resolve technical and personal challenges encountered on the shop floor Plan and organise workshop activities to ensure business priorities are met Ability to adjust and coordinate workshop priorities at short notice to meet customer and business needs Collaborating with other departments/functions within the Montrose COE as well as building relationships with the Controls COE at Nailsea Carry out maintenance and repair of technical, mechanical and electrical equipment / production equipment before and after shipment offshore Creating a positive working environment and atmosphere to allow the team to achieve their targets Promote and improve HSE culture on the shop floor Drive a continuous improvement mindset across the whole team to ensure Quality Metrics are reviewed and actions implemented to improve this. Strong knowledge of Subsea Controls Systems, including software / electrical expertise Work closely with Software engineers to diagnose and resolve software issues Proven experience of both mechanical and electrical as a technician or similar Work closely with Ops Lead to ensure shop floor targets are defined and achieved on a daily / weekly basis Provide cover for Ops Lead when they are on leave Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with peers and closely with customers whilst on site Work closely with QC to ensure documentation is signed off and procedures are correctly followed Working with us Our people are at the heart of what we do at Baker Hughes.
